In a Hurry
In a hurry…They’ll say we rush, that we run, that we don’t know what we’re doing.
But what do they know?
What do they know about two souls that have spent an eternity looking for each other?
They talk about waiting…waiting to meet, to be sure, to align, to learn how to commit.
As if all of that didn’t already exist the very first moment our eyes crossed.
When certainty is so absolute that it leaves no room for doubt, when love is so powerful it floods your soul—
what exactly is there to wait for?
No.
I don’t want to wait.
I don’t want to slow down.
I don’t want to take it easy.
I won’t waste another second of my life.
Waiting is for the complacent. For those who haven’t found their other half and remain still, waiting…hoping
affection will someday grow into what it was never meant to be.
What they don’t understand is that not even a thousand years of waiting
can turn affection into love.
Love is the thing that stops you instantly.
That fills you.
That lifts you.
That makes you feel small— insignificant before its magnitude— and at the same time strong, capable, vividly alive.
Fools… fools are those who wait. Those who don’t know. Who haven’t felt it.
And foolish was I too— because until I found you, I couldn’t understand that love is born in an instant.
And when the magic happens, there is no turning back.
Because when two souls meet, they are meant to remain together.
